Sweet Sweet Kink: A Collection of BDSM Stories | Director & Producer2019Sweet Sweet Kink takes a sweet, sweet peek into the kinky world of bondage, dominance, and sadomasochism through three different stories of intimate connection, consensual exploration, and deep self-reflection.PRESS “It’s about this woman’s experience with sensation play and BDSM and how healing that’s been for her, and how cathartic. It’s sexy and the drawings are hot, but it’s really educational, it’s really smart, and it’s entirely about this personal experience. Is it pornographic? I guess so, but it is an honest, joyful, personal account and response to sex.” - DAN SAVAGE on an excerpt of Sweet Sweet Kink in HUMP! From Texas to Tokyo: The Hurley Sisters | co-director & producerPartnered with Texas Monthly & June Third Films to tell the stories of four Olympic hopefuls on their journeys from Texas to Tokyo.“Kelley and Courtney Hurley participate in épée, the only Olympic fencing event (out of three; the others are foil and sabre) in which the competitors’ entire bodies are eligible for scoring touches. The sisters from San Antonio are members of the first and only women’s épée team in U.S. history to win a medal, claiming bronze at the 2012 London Games. Older sibling Kelley, who is 33, will be competing in her fourth Olympics this summer; it’s the third trip for Courtney, who’s three years younger. The Hurleys have trained together for as long as they can remember, and in Tokyo, they will make one last run at Olympic glory before Kelley, a medical student, moves to the Caribbean to complete her studies at the St. James School of Medicine.” ~ Rafe Bartholomewco-directors MAGGIE M. From Texas to Tokyo: Jordan Santana | co-director & producerPartnered with Texas Monthly & June Third Films to tell the stories of four Olympic hopefuls on their journeys from Texas to Tokyo.“Second in the series is Jordan Santana. Throughout the past year, the seventeen-year-old from Houston had been considered one of the favorites to make the three-woman team of riders representing the country in park skateboarding at the Tokyo Games. She placed second at the USA Skateboarding National Championships in May and is one of just a handful of women in the world capable of pulling off a dizzying 540-degree aerial spin—a trick that skating insiders believe could be key to medaling this summer. But later in May, at her final qualifying event in Des Moines, a shaky performance caused Santana to drop out of contention for this year’s Summer Games. But the Olympics’ loss has become the X Games’ gain, with Santana slated to return to action this week at ESPN’s annual extreme sports extravaganza. For Santana, the road to redemption begins Friday at the Women’s skateboard park competition in Southern California—and if all goes according to plan, it will end with her on the medal stand in Paris in 2024.” ~ Rafe Bartholomewco-directors MAGGIE M. Representing one of America’s best chances at a gold medal in the sport, the 33-year-old with obsessive-compulsive disorder fights not only for herself, but also to spread awareness of vital issues surrounding mental health.” ~ Rafe Bartholomewco-directors MAGGIE M. From Texas to Tokyo: Michelle Carter | co-director & producerPartnered with Texas Monthly & June Third Films to tell the stories of four Olympic hopefuls on their journeys from Texas to Tokyo.“Throughout the first half of 2021, three-time Olympian Michelle Carter had been training to defend the gold medal she’d won in shot put at the 2016 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro. But as the spring wore on, the 35-year-old UT grad from the Dallas suburb of Red Oak noticed a twinge of pain in her right ankle—the foot she uses to push off and generate power for her throws. An MRI revealed a benign tumor that had to be surgically removed at the beginning of June and prevented Carter from competing in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. Despite the setback, Carter, the daughter of 1984 shot put silver medalist and three-time NFL Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion Michael Carter, plans to return to competition in time for the 2022 World Athletics Championships, to be held in Eugene, Oregon, with designs on making one more Olympic run at the 2024 Paris Games.” ~ Rafe Bartholomewco-directors MAGGIE M.
